Surgi-ORC® Powder is a sterile product made from oxidized regenerated cellulose (polyoxyan hydro glucuronic acid)
Can be applied dry, directly onto bleeding areas or organs, making it suitable for a wide range of surgical procedures
Acts locally to stop bleeding fast, depending on the surgery type and bleeding intensity
Maintains haemostasis even under irrigation, ensuring reliable performance during surgery
Fully absorbable and biocompatible with minimal tissue reaction
Low pH confers a bactericidal effect, enhancing patient safety

Sterile applicators are separately available in two lengths (14 cm and 38 cm), suitable for both Open and Minimally Invasive Surgeries (MIS)

Application

Applying Surgi-ORC® Powder is very simple, fast and safe.

Due to its structure and penetrating ability, Surgi-ORC® Powder may not require manual compression, which may be optimal for minimally invasive procedures or open procedures where manual compression is difficult to achieve.

Step 1- DRY:
Remove excess blood by suction or gauze

Step 2- APPLY:
Apply Surgi-ORC® Powder immediately & extensively to the wound site

Step 3-IRRIGATE:
After haemostasis has been achieved, excess powder can be irrigated
