DESCRIPTION

SURGISPON® NASAL/DERMAL CARE ,a sterile and resorbable gelatin sponge, is a clinically proven (CE certified) product used for treatment of mild to moderate nosebleeds and dermal wound care. These types of persistent nasal and dermal bleedings resulting from injuries, accidents, allergies etc. can lead to excessive blood loss, causing health complications.

CHARACTERISTICS

SURGISPON® NASAL/DERMAL CARE offers a microporous structure which allows the activation of coagulation. The sponge is characterized by a strong ability to absorb blood and exudate. It has a neutral pH and has good tissue tolerance. It must remain in place until the bleeding stops. On contact with oozing wounds, it forms a gel which protects the wound and allows you to reapply a dressings without pain, while respecting the epithelium (superficial layer of the skin). If you experience nosebleeds after using the second sponge, consult your doctor.
