INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SURGI-PVATM Eye Spear functions through capillary-driven fluid uptake and retention enabled by its microporous polyvinyl alcohol matrix.
Upon contact with fluid, the interconnected pore structure rapidly draws liquid into the sponge, where it is uniformly distributed and securely retained.
The material expands in a controlled manner without fibre release, allowing the spear to conform closely to the operative site while maintaining structural integrity.
This controlled absorption minimizes fluid re-migration, supports continuous fluid management, and preserves a clear microsurgical field.
